Fluid Control AS relocates to new facilities in Bergen
(AUG 2011) As a result of considerable domestic growth,Fluid Control AS, the leading provider of flowline solutions, has announced its plans to relocate it's Bergen's operations to a 8,500 sq meter development on the west side of the city.
FC Bergen currently operates from Vågsgaten 6 where it has its main office and assembly workshops, Hose Management operations, complete line of hose and other flowline manufacturing and inventory facility. Also as a result of the merger earlier this year, FC has expanded the scope of their rental services in Bergen to better serve their customers.
The new headquarters will provide 1,200 square meters of office space, 4,500 square meters of workshops and 3,000 sq meters of warehouse in Bergen. The expected move in date for the new premises is September 2011.
Trygve Mildestveit, CEO of FC said "We are at a very exciting stage in the company's development and evolution. Our existing premises have served us very well but as a result of considerable growth in the past few years the time has come for us to expand our operations and relocate our company headquarters which will allow our Bergen operations to be managed from one integrated site".
Trygve continued "These new headquarters will allow us to further progress with our expansion plans. The new manufacturing facilities will enable us to increase our capabilities and capacity in terms of integrated solutions including specialist hose assemblies and umbilicals for well intervention and other subsea applications. The new facility will also allow us to offer an even larger range of inventory, thereby enabling us to offer both more choice and the high speed of response that our customers often need. By enhancing our overall abilities to meet the very specific needs of our customers we are confident we can deliver even greater levels of customer service and satisfaction."
