Fluid Control Announces Extensive Capacity Expansion
STAVANGER, Norway (Nov 2011) - Fluid Control announces an extensive capacity expansion of its business, manufacturing and service facility in Stavanger. The investment is part of the company's aggressive growth strategy that aligns with its increased business in the offshore sector in Norway.
The expansion includes 2300 Sq metres adjacent to Sola Crossing for creation of a dedicated Stavanger Service Center to provide quick response times for major service and project overhaul. Construction will also include 6,500 square metres workshop and 2,100 square metres of office space , hose manufacturing facility, multiple warehouses, an assembly, welding centre, pressure testing, machining and manufacturing facility and service center. New offices will accommodate management and engineering staff. The site also includes land for future expansions.
Construction is under way and the impact of the investments is already starting to take effect. Renovations and construction are expected to be completed by the first quarter of 2012.

The expansion allows Fluid Control to install our state of the art machinery for increased manufacturing capacity of flowline equipment. The equipment purchased includes additional hose mounting stations, and new painting and sand blasting equipment. Investing in these equipment gives Fluid Control a significant increase in its yearly output capacity.
